RICHARD CARD

Richard Card was born in Churston Ferrers, Devon, England, 18 September 1618, the son of
Edward Card and Elizabeth Smith. He married Rebecca (last name unknown). Richard died before 1 July 1674 in Newport, Newport, Rhode Island. Richard was in Newport by 1653, as he appeard as a jury man in the case of Kempo Sybada and Edward Hull. Served on a jury again in 1658. Listed in Newport as a freeman in 1655 and in 1656, he is listed as one of the original grantees of Conicut Island (Jamestown). |

Rebeca, was born in Dorset, England 1618. Rebecca died 12 November 1692.
