Kathryn (Bulten) Card - Mason City, Iowa Globe Gazette
Kathryn Card, 89, died Friday (Dec. 15,1995) at Dumont Card Center.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Dumont United Methodist Church with Rev.
Marilyn Winch and the Rev. Paul Gerdes officiating. Burial will be in Dumont Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home.

Kathryn Card was born Jan. 3, 1906 in Beerta, Holland.

Survivors include her husband, Chester Card of Dumont; four sons, Dallas Card of Alexander, Clifton
Card of Allison, Delores "Toot" Card of Hampton, and Robert Card of Dumont; one daughter, Judy John
of Des Moines; one brother, Swede Bulten of Early; one sister, Helen Jaster of Ottumwa; 12
grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, one granddaughter, and two brothers and four sisters.
Clyde E. Wilson - Dec. 5, 1960
Parkersburg - Funeral services for Clyde E. Wilson, ??, who died Monday at Sartori Memorial Hospital in
Cedar falls, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Engelkes Funeral Home there. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Allene Noble, Cedar Falls; Mrs. Esther Ormond, San Diego,
Calif.; Mrs. And Mrs. Wilson had been Parkersburg residents until about a year ago when they move to

th St. Cedar Falls; Engelkes funeral home in charge.

Parkersburg - Funeral services for Mrs. Clyde E. Wilson, 75 who died Monday evening at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. L. A. Noble, 1516 W. 4
th St., Cedar Falls, where she had been making her home. Will be 2
p.m. Friday at Engelkes funeral home; burial in Oak Hill Cemetery; survived by two daughters; Mrs. Noble,

Elmer Lyman Card - July 30, 1986, Parkersburg Eclipse
Elmer Lyman Card, 92, of Parkersburg, Iowa, died early Thursday morning, July 24, 1986, at the Allison
Care Center.

Elmer, son of Irvin and Mary Booheister, Card, was born March 28, 1894, in Butler county east of
Parkersburg. He received his education in the rural school near his home.

On January 10, 1917, he was united in marriage to Viola Miller in Waterloo, Iowa. They lived in the
Parkersburg area most of their married lives. Elmer was a Maintainer Operator, and worked for Butler
County for over fifty years.

He is survived by one son Vernon, and daughter-in-law Kathryn Card, one grandson Mike Card all of
Parkersburg. He was preceded in death by his wife Viola, grandson Mitchell Card, one sister Ruth
Bloomfield, two brothers Ward and Floyd, and one half-brother Ed Booheister.

Funeral services were held 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning July 26, 1986, in the Schwartz-Engelkes Funeral
Home in Parkersburg, Iowa with Rev. Don Burket officiating. Special music was "In the Garden" and "The
Old Rugged Cross" Casket bearers were John Wilmer, Don Huisman, Kenneth Siems, Ronald Kolder, Alan
Kuiper, and Larry Cornelious. Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery, Parkersburg, Iowa. Schwartz-
Engelkes Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.

Parkersburg - Services for Elmer Card, 92 who died Thursday (July 24) at Allison Care Center, Allison, will
be 10 a.m. Saturday at Schwartz-Engelkes Funeral Home, Parkersburg; survivors include a son, Vernon Of
Parkersburg, and a grandson; he was preceded in death by his wife, Viola, a grandson, two brothers, a sister
and a half-brother. Friends may call at the funeral home until 9 p.,. today, and Saturday preceding services.

funeral services for Mrs. Elmer Card, 65, will be today (Wednesday) at 1:30 p.m. at the Engelkes funeral
Home. Interment will be made in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Viola Card, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Herman Willer, was born on July 12, 1899 at Reinbeck, Iowa.
She was married on January 10, 1918 to Elmer Card and the family have always made their home in
Parkersburg. She passed away at the Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo on Sunday evening, Sept. 27
th.

She was preceded in death by her mother, 1 brother, Lyman Willer and 1 sister, Mrs. Velva Ehler.
Surviving are her husband, on son, Vernon of Parkersburg; 2 grandson, her step-mother, Mrs Ruth Willer of
Rienbeck; 2 brothers, Herbert Willer of Vinton and Lester Willer of Waterloo; 1 sister, Mrs. Violet Oppelt
of Central City, Ia. 7 half-brothers and half-sister, Donald and James Willer of Buhl, Idaho; Merle Willer,
Carol Whitcomb, Ruth Trent and Fred Willer all of Reinbeck, and Russell Willer of Newhall, Iowa.
